Big
Ten Network Information |
08/12/2007 |
 |
|
Here is a recap of the information sent to Alumni by Kimberly
Lowe
Hello Ohio State Alumni,
It is that time of year when we gather with friends and family
to cheer on the Football Buckeyes. But before this happens you
need to check with your local game-watch site and cable provider
to make sure that they
carry the Big Ten Network (BTN). This year some games will only
be broadcast on the Big Ten Network. Providers such as Direct
TV have already added the channel. The Big Ten Network is a joint
venture between subsidiaries of the Big Ten Conference and Fox
Cable Networks. For more information regarding the Big Ten Network,
visit www.BigTenNetwork.com.
We have been in contact with The Blue Goose Sports Cafe in
Sharonville. They have direct TV and have assured us that The
Big Ten Network will be available. At this time only the first
two games are affected by this (per www.ohiostatebuckeyes.com).
They are the Youngstown and Akron games.
